Bowmar Reading Kit cards were provided to schools as a teaching tool to promote reading. The cards were issued in complete sets of 50 and measure approximately 8 x 13. The front of each card tells a story about NFL events and the backs have questions to test reading comprehension. This set was reissued in 1987 in a 40 card set. The three cards that inlcude information about the Cowboys are in both sets, but the numbering was different.
