1977 Topps Mexican

This is one of the toughest sets to build in all of football. The 1977 Topps Mexican set is card-for-card, exactly like the regular issue set, except all the text is in Spanish. There are two minor differences to note with text color. "Vaqueros" on the Scott Laidlaw RC is in pink instead of red, and "Seleccion NFC-1976" on the Drew Pearson card is in white instead of pink. The cards were perforated instead of cut clean, so they are found with small tear tabs left-over before being packaged. The Danny White RC, Receiving Leaders, and Ed "Too Tall" Jones cards are quite a bit more difficult to find compared to the rest of the set.

The card backs are also exactly the same as the English version. The bottom of each card has an area called "Ficha Escolar" that contains the name of the school the player attended, along with a personal achievement from his college career.
